Our goal is to fund our first year of operations — rent, insurance, equipment, supplies, and outreach costs — so that we can continue focusing on what matters: God and people.
God is writing a story that is far beyond anything we could have asked or imagined.
In the summer of 2020 — during a global pandemic — Refuge City Church opened its doors for the first time. From a house basement, the Gospel was brought forth with love and without apology.
But no matter how great our faith and excitement, we couldn’t have anticipated the overwhelming response from this community. Within only a few months, the basement was overflowing. We realized we were going to need God to open a door to a larger space, and He was faithful to answer our prayers. In less than a year since our first Sunday service, Refuge City will be moving into the Megaplex, the largest movie theater in Cedar City, where we’ll continue to shout the good news of Jesus to anyone who will listen.
Let’s be honest: ministry is hard work, and it costs money to do what we do. That’s why we need your help. Our goal is to fund our first year of operations — rent, insurance, equipment, supplies, and outreach costs — so that we can continue focusing on what matters: God and people. We are passionate about this mission, but we can’t do it alone. With only seven families calling RCC their home in a community that is predominantly LDS, we are calling on the broader Church to recognize the urgency of our mission and come alongside us to see God’s vision for Cedar City come to life.
This is just the beginning of God’s story for this area. Please consider partnering with us as we bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to Cedar City, UT. And, as always, we appreciate your prayers as we set out to do what God has called us to do.
