pay off my college debt

pay off my college debt

From Alice Earley

I'm not capable to pay the amount due for the former graduate program at my online university. The bill must be paid before I can start a new program and I can't get financial aid without wiping out this debt. I'm lost

I'm a returning student with debt from a former online university. I was not suited for the first program because my first choice after returning to my online university was not a good fit. I wanted to strive and put my best foot forward but it overwhelmed me after not seeing my best efforts proved unsuccessful.

The online class was very challenging and the technology proved to defeat me.  My hopes were diminishing daily with each day to meet the necessary mandatory school's policies. My graduate program was more critical thinking and more extract abstract than I expected.

MBA Finance was not for the weak or technologically impaired . After the second week my best choice is to change my graduate program for a better outcome and a new fresh look within my capabilities. I found my new skill set was in Governmental Policies and Public Policy. As with any online university one must clear their debt before entering into a new program to get any federal aid.

My lesson was materialized stick with what you know unless one is willing to take the risk of the unknown. A person must know their strength and weaknesses. That lesson never gets old for anyone who's determine to succeed with any academic institution. Reality bites hard when your decisions costs you money. The old program costs $3000 with the two weeks spent in the program online at Grand Canyon University. The standard policy must be paid in full before you can start a new program and I can't afford the cost. Well my plan is to get educated to end my unemployment status. This seems typical as a returning student to the online university.

The costly error in my judgement is typical but I rather not repeat this journey anytime soon if  not ever. Moving forward I hope to meet this goal and I hope my adult child can be inspired to never give up on anything. Education is a life long process at any age.

As a woman of color, Obstacles can also be within the journey that helps a person strive and grow. It might not be the path one chooses but Black women must be the strongest against our insecurities and love ourselves as the special humans that walk this planet for greatness. There is no room for anything else that kills our purpose on this earth. Mankind and Humanity are all we have for each other to survive this life we are given to serve.  Poor choices have a purpose as well to teach us of our existence.

When I finally get my graduate degree.  It is important to help people of color who have obstacles set up by design to keep oppression alive and well. America is a great country and America has to face its past towards people of color. An ugly stain on America is racism. Racism will destroy America if everyone doesn't kill this deadly evil. My future looks promising and I'm looking forward to meeting my new found purpose on this planet.

Thank you for your time and your help to meet my goal.
