Paws for Wellness

Last year, my buddy Leo had emergency surgery due to a botched abscess drainage performed by a negligent veterinarian. He was left with a hemorrhaging wound and vet bills from three clinics I took him to; the stress was mounting, but I felt I had to do everything as his parent to provide him with the best care possible. To our furry pals, we are everything. I only hope that this endeavor will help others going through similar difficulties and alleviate the worry of going into debt for adequate vet care.

El año pasado, mi amigo Leo se sometió a una cirugía de emergencia debido a un drenaje de absceso fallido realizado por un veterinario negligente. Quedó con una herida hemorrágica y facturas veterinarias de tres clínicas a las que lo llevé; el estrés aumentaba, pero sentía que tenía que hacer todo lo posible como su madre para brindarle la mejor atención posible. Para nuestros amigos peludos, lo somos todo. Solo espero que este esfuerzo ayude a otros que atraviesan dificultades similares y alivie la preocupación de endeudarse para obtener una atención veterinaria adecuada.
