More Info

It's hard to believe that after 43 years of ministry at First Baptist Church of Westwood Lake/Westwood Christian School/Circle C Youth Ranch, Pastor Rigo Garcia is retiring! While his heart will always be with the people of Miami and especially the Spanish ministry at Westwood, we pray he will continue the work of God in his new home of Georgia.

We know from the countless stories throughout the years how our dad has been there, supporting, praying for, ministering to each of you. He has been there holding your hands, making everyone laugh, encouraging you though your hardest times, and celebrated with you during your exciting times! While we would love to have each and every person who has been influenced by him at his retirement, we understand that because of travel and other events, it is not possible, so we thought coming together for a large gift from everyone for something he's wanted to do would be a wonderful way to say THANKS!

He has always had a desire to visit his birthplace of Cuba with his family, to reminisce on all the memories it holds for him and to share those moments with us. If you would like to send a gift of thanks for what he's meant in your life, please consider donating towards this trip! We cannot wait to see his face when he is presented with this gift from his friends, family, ministry partners, and former students at his retirement party!
