A little bit of context
The Pacific Coast Association turned 100 years old last June. The organization has an endowment from which it provides grants for western Swedenborigan ministries, and this endowment has remained relatively stable for over 10 years.
But there’s a problem
PCA is unable to fill many grant requests. It often can only give half of the requested amounts, leaving many churches forced to scale back their programs. Over the years, PCA has sponsored program and capital development for the New Church of the Southwest Desert, retreat grants to the San Francisco church, financing for Seattle's Christmas concerts, and provided vital infrastructure to help Anna Wolfenden start the Garden Church.
