More Info

At an early age Meridth was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, she was informed that as a result of the cancer she would never be able to experience the miracle of child birth or the joys of motherhood. Meridith was soon denied another of her lifes ambitions, entry to the United States Navy. She fell into a depression losing sight of her goals and even failing to realize the value of her own life, however Meridith was and is more important to more people than she ever could have imagined. After beating her cancer into remission and remaining cancer free for more than ten years, Meridith is now happily married and is an amazing mother to to her husbands two girls who view her as their own mother. Meridith is an inspiration to anyone and everyone who has ever faced a challenge big or small. She is now organizing a team of her family and friends to walk to raise money to fund research to find a cure for ovarian cancer, she has creatively found small projects such as making handmade simple jewelery and knitting winter hats or baking pumpkin rolls to help raise the money to register her team for the walk. She is valiantly earning the registration little by little but running out of time rapidly. Her bravery, determination, and selflessness have inspired us to do whatever possible to help insure that she reaches her goal and succeeds in not only getting her team registered but completing the walk as well. We are reaching out to ask for the help we need to do so, and we appreciate every penny donated. Thank you for taking the time to consider our request, and a special thanks to everyone who makes a donation.
