Here is my story!

My military friends are having a hard time finding care for their kids. They are being told to use their family care plan and for some, this means sending their kids back home to parents all because of COVID! With the purchase of the home, instead of renting my extra unit out, one of my friends said I should use it to open a daycare!!! I loved this idea because I'm great with kids, I want to help my military families (because that's just what military people do!), And my degrees are in Business, Accounting and Child Psych! So I went the completely legal way of doing it and I went through the state to get a license to be able to legally provide care for more than one family! The expected time after submitting my application was 60-90 days. I heard back in a week and a half and my inspection is less than 30 days away! I really need the help of my family and friends right now so I can help military families during this time.

I have tried in every way to make money to get this up and running! I have done DoorDash, Postmates, and Instacart 12-14 hours a day with my kids, I have sold alot of my clothes, jewelry, shoes, furniture, etc.

One of my friends hosted a Scentsy Fundraiser, I did a raffle where I made $105 but I had to spend $90 on the gift cards, and i even attempted to profit off my own company shirts but I didn't want to charge so much for these items, so I only made $5 off each shirt people bought. Although these fundraisers were so greatly appreciated, they didn't do much!!!! I cared so much more about offering something in order to raise money for this instead of straight out asking for y'all to help me by sending your hard earned money but I'm desperate now that inspection is right around the corner.

I have created a list of all the necessary things needed to pass inspection and added up the costs and I'm crying and stressed out and overwhelmed.. Somehow I need to come up with $3381 by Sept 18!!!

Please help me start up Ositos Academy! If you can't donate, I completely understand and I would be even more thankful if you could share this link and encourage others to share!!!!! Thank you so very much for helping me!!! You have no idea how thankful I am!!!! Thank you for all the donations, all the words of encouragement when I feel like throwing in the towel! I love you guys so much!!!!

Update #2

We are currently sitting at a little over 22% of the goal!!! Some donations have been received in various ways and the total amount donated is $790 to date. I appreciate you guys so very much!!!

Please remember that your donations do not start at helping me and my kids by opening this business and it does not end at helping provide care for military families in need of care. Your donations also help me to partner with the Child Rescue Coalition and help fight against child sexual exploitation!!!!
