Open transitional shelter for homeless families

Kija homeless to home transitional is 501(c)(3)  nonprofit  organization that was founded by Director Umukija Mickle on 4/27/2017.  Our organization has been serving homeless families & single woman with temporary shelter food clothing Covid-19 survival kits and resources to help them become self-sufficient in their community. These families and single are living unsheltred in their vehicles on the streets and in parks. They are in desperate need of shelter our vision and mission is to open a transitional shelter for them for 1 year and then open a low-income Multi-family housing development to transition them into to end their homelessness.Our organization was seeking funding through grants and donations after opening  up in 2017 then the pandemic hit and severly impacted our organization and it has set our mission back 3 yrs we are still trying to recover from it through donations we have only been able to provide them with food clothing hygiene products and 30 day temoprary hotel stays and they back to living in their vehicles on the streets or in parks. Your generous donatio  will help our organization provide a shelter for our clients to live in longer than 30 days so they can get the support and resources they need to become self-sufficient families and single woman should not be living without walls.
