My dog really needs help.

From Sacora Tamlin

I'm raising money to pay for a life saving surgery for Olivia Lynn. She was diagnosed with Necrotic Cellulitis that originated from a spider bite. Please help me save my babygirl..

So I can't begin to collect my thoughts on everything that has happened to my sweet girl within the past two weeks.

She has dealt with such a great amount of pain and suffering and she is really trying her best to stay positive. Initially, she had hurt her spine and front paw jumping off my bed. After a visit to the vet, an anti-inflammatory and some pain meds she came home and sometime that night got bit by a nasty spider and developed a lump on her tummy that was very sensitive and discolored. Now, another trip to the vet and an antibiotic later she comes home and within a few hours it had doubled in size and was swollen and purple. I consulted with her vet again and provided some relief with a cold compress and a loooooot of pets. Things seemed better for a day, her swelling was reduced and the redness had cleared a bit. Unfortunately, the next morning the abscess that had formed on her chest, burst open. We got her bandaged up but were unable to take her to the vet right away because yesterday was Sunday. Now, we were expecting it to burst but this was something like we'd never seen and we were getting more and more worried as the night went. So around 10pm we drove her to an emergency vet hospital in Olympia. Now this whole trip took about 6 hours and long story short, 2 grand was impossible for us to come up with on the spot at 2am. That $2,000 was supposed to pay for inpatient treatment that would have gotten her all the care and treatment she really required. Like an IV and a shaving/cleaning and many, many other things that people just aren't able to provide in a home setting. So we took the next best option and paid for her medication and took her home. She made it through the night and 4 hours of sleep later she was back to the vet to get a much more affordable shaving/cleaning and get her bacteria swap sent to the lab.

So altogether in the past two weeks this has cost my family roughly $800 and along with trying to repair our furnace, we are really suffering.

The news I got from the vet today was not good. Within a few days, all of the skin on Olivia's tummy is going to rot away and fall off, leaving a giant concave wound across her chest and through her tummy. If she isnt able to get this surgery my sweet girl is going to die.

So if you can, please, please help me.
