April 20th is Oakwood’s Annual Fund Run! The Fund Run allows students to develop a spirit of philanthropy and enhance their school through their own participation and fundraising. The event also develops authentic and resilient individuals who cultivate their physical, social and emotional well-being. Students run a fun obstacle course and laps on the field with their grade level and families are encouraged to come out and cheer them on!

Students solicit sponsorship of their participation in the Fund Run and compete in a friendly, school-wide fundraising competition where they can win grade level prizes. Parents making a single donation of $500 will see their family name posted with a motivational quote along the Fund Run course. Parents making a single donation of $1,000 will see their family name in front of an obstacle as the sponsor of that obstacle. All donation gifts at any level are greatly appreciated.

As we approach Oakwood’s 20th anniversary, our school's future has never been brighter. As enrollment continues to grow, ensuring that our campus meets the needs of our students is vital as we continue our mission and vision of providing exceptional education while remaining the leading independent school in our area. Proceeds this year will go towards our Campus Fund which includes a liberal arts building, gymnasium and playfields. See the full vision of our campus expansion project.

The Fund Run has always been a special way for the Oakwood community to come together and support our students and school. It’s a wonderful event that showcases our school spirit and we encourage parent participation both on and off the field. Visit our school website to learn more.
