Northbound Hounds, the little dog rescue doing big things

Who we are: we are a small rescue that rehabs damaged dogs, provides them refuge and hopes that someday they are adoptable. But some dogs here will be here for life. We are nothing fancy, simple and practical. Most of the dogs run free here as a pack, and a few we adjust the pack so they get free run time too.We have fight and bait dogs that call here home. A hoarding cases that has learned only we can be trusted. An abuse case that has come a long way but the right home can not be found to suit her needs.Why we need help: we are under attack by very bad people that are on a witch hunt. They have done this before, but no one stood up against them. WE ARE GOING TO DO JUST THAT... stop the bullies that are hurting innocent lives with their lies.  Stop the bullies that are hurt rescue.At the typing of this, we have transferred out 7 dogs, we are out that adoption money. We have 10 puppies that we have invested in their health so that they could get homes, we are out the veterinary money and the adoption money. The money we used to retain our lawyer was to put a new vinyl floor in, well that isn't going to happen.Our budget is small and our hearts are big. Last year we were $1800 in the hole, but it's just money. We don't do rescue for money, we do it for lives. Our board is not paid and we have no employees. We rely on a few good-hearted volunteers every week to lighten the load here. Please help save what is left of us. Help us stop these people from hurting our rescue any more and stop them from doing this to someone else... these people are well known here for their bullying political tactics.  REMEMBER WE ARE A 501C3 nonprofit, your donation is tax deductable!
