From Gus St. Anthony

I am raising money to promote and publicize my book, "Spellwiz", the crossword game for two (or more) players. Folks who like Scrabble will LOVE Spellwiz! But, the world needs to know about it and that takes money.

We say, "Folks who like Scrabble LOVE Spellwiz!" But, how many folks like Scrabble? How big is that market? Well, here are a few statistics:
1. To date, more than 150 million sets have been sold.
2. Roughly one third of American and one half of British homes have a
Scrabble set.
3. There are more than four thousand Scrabble clubs around the world.
4. Scrabble is sold in 121 countries.
5. It is available in 29 different languages.

It's an easy thing to translate Spellwiz into different languages. We're working on that right now. Help support Spellwiz and you will be supporting whatwill someday be an international product.

More Info

Here's my story. My second wife was a Scrabble buff. So am I. During the course of our marriage, we spent many hours playing Scrabble. When she became sick and confined to bed, playing Scrabble was difficult. The board would shift and the tiles would slide out of place. It took all the fun out of playing. So, I decided to design a crossword game that could be played on paper sheets. That's how Spellwiz was born. Spellwiz was simpler and easier to play. Also, because it had a "Speller's Stockpile" of letters with 16 of each vowel and 8 of each consonant rather than a rack of only 7 tiles, the word and score options were endless. A lot more fun!

After my wife passed, I decided to copyright the game, publish it and market it. At first, Spellwiz was a graphic feature in periodic publications like SMILES Magazine (a monthly) and The Good Time Graphic (a weekly). As such, it was played and enjoyed by thousands of readers.

Now, I am producing it in booklet form. I expect the response to be even more enthusiastic. But, I need your help to make that happen. People have to know about it and your donations will help spread the word.
