Need help for roommate

Back in February my friend John developed a sore on his foot and long story short he ended up finding out he was diabetic. He was out of work back then for a couple months and during that time we could not find him ANY help financially while he was out of work. We exhausted all options and nothing was available to him. He was able to get medical insurance as well as food stamps. During the last 9 months he was in and out of work battling this sore on his foot and lost his credit cards and everything. We are a family even though he is only a friend and I have tried helping as much as I can and my mother is on disability so her income is limited. A month ago his foot got bad again because he was working hard because he had no choice. He had to have surgery three weeks ago and will be out until at least the end of the year. He has NO income meaning we have to try and pick up the slack which is no fault of his own. I even picked up a part time job but it is still not enough. My plans for this fundraiser is to pay each and every one you back that donates. I will try my best to do that as I do not like asking for handouts. All I need is for you to let me know who you are and what was donated so I can log it. I really appreciate any help anyone can give us right now we are drowning right now  Thank you for reading!
