Unfortunately with the recent Hurricane Harvey that has flooded Houston, TX has left us choosing between paying what little bills we can or to continuing funding our trip to to IL from TX. Knowing that this would be the equivalent of paying utilities or seeing our son in a once in a life time experience. My spouse and I drive for a living and of course can not do so with the recent street closures and curfew in place making driving almost impossible. To make worse the recent increase gas prices makes for more difficulties almost as if just paying for gas in hopes to work.
Prior to flood our home and family had already been under financial stress but always being able stay afloat. But after the flooding both my spouse and I could not work. And will not know when we will be able to work full times as we did before till all the flood water recede.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
(spouse and I are contracted worker for companies such as uber, and postmates more not mentioned due to them being competition with each other)
