Mount Vernon Patriots Baseball - Tournament Fundraiser

We started our Mount Vernon Patriots team in the fall of 2019 so that we could play competitive baseball with players who share the same beliefs:  

We play for each other / We hold ourselves and our teammates to the highest standards / We find a way to contribute / We get better every day

As a youth travel baseball team from Alexandria, Virginia and the surrounding suburbs, we play some great teams in our area, but we are always looking for opportunities to play tough competition outside of our area.  That means tournaments and travel!

As you can imagine, travel baseball is not inexpensive. The tournaments and related travel are certainly expensive, but they are not the only costs.  We also rent indoor cages and field houses to prepare for each season.  All in, our operational costs and tournament costs can reach $40,000 a year.

How you can help:  We are starting our fundraising initiatives now for our 2021-2022 seasons.  Our initial team goal is to raise $4,500 between now and December 20, 2020.  If we hit this goal, we have an angel sponsor who will match this for a total of $9,000.
