What could be more important to a mom than keeping babies safe and secure? This Mother's Day, honor your mother by making a donation in her name that will help keep vulnerable, low-income babies safe.
Thanks to Cindy Schoenthaler for her generous support. We're almost at THREE car seats for low-income babies!
Raising a family on minimum wage is a difficult challenge. Here in Kansas, that's only $7.25 an hour!
Low-wage moms and dads put life-sustaining necessities first -- food, housing, medical care. There's little left over to pay for crucial safety equipment, like car seats and pack-and-go playpens. Yet these items are critical to keeping infants and young babies safe.
Our Keep Babies Safe! Mother's Day Campaign is raising funds to purchase car seats and pack-and-go playpens for low-income families we serve through our Healthy Start Home Visiting and Early Intervention programs.
This Mother's Day, honor your mother with a gift in her name to our Keep Babies Safe! campaign. With a donation of $10 or more, we will send a card to her, acknowledging your gift, so she will know she has helped a child in need get a safe start in life. (Your donation is tax-deductible, as well.)
Our goal is to raise $1,000 to buy five car seats and five pack-and-go playpens.
Founded in 1966, the Hays Area Children’s Center (HACC) is a nonprofit organization that provides and promotes quality care and educational experiences for young children and families. Because the first years of life are the most crucial stages of development, HACC services help ensure a healthy, positive start for children and their families, primarily in Ellis and Rush counties.
Be sure to tell us who you would like to honor and give us their contact information for an e-card or mailed card! Please email the information to email@example.com.
