With all of the donations we have received online plus the cash donations given at the fundraiser this past Saturday. I am proud to announce that we have been able to raise $11,094 total so far! I would still love to get the online donations to reach $10,000 for Mark and Mer. Everyone has been so generous with their donations it has been such a blessing to see the community come together and support Mark through this battle.
iPOW Physical Therapy & Wellness is hosting a fundraiser this Saturday to benefit Mark Cochran, an Amarillo resident who has been battling cancer since December of 2020. Mark, who is fighting Melanoma, underwent brain surgery earlier this year to remove the largest of several tumors before starting an aggressive course of chemotherapy. Sadly, the tumors later returned, necessitating an intensive round of daily radiation treatments. Mark’s wife Meredith, who is an iPOW Physical Therapist, has been by his side throughout it all, which means neither has been able to work. In an effort to assist Meredith and Mark with their mounting medical bills, iPOW is hosting a BBQ and Bake Sale tomorrow, Saturday, September 18th from 11:30 a.m. until all the food is sold out. Everyone in our community is invited to attend at 3501 S. Soncy. Participants will enjoy rib, brisket, or pork plates with beans and potato salad for $12 or a Brisket or Pork Wrap for $6. All proceeds will go to the Cochran family as they continue their battle.
