Yay!! Thank you for the donations!!! I'm getting closer to my goal every day because of you! The second hat is multicolored. What do you think? Help me travel to the Moonbeam awards. With every $100, I'll donate a hat to the Kingman Area Cancer Center (http://www.azkrmc.com/cancer-center-treatment/). I would love to give them 20 hats. Please donate today!

If you prefer, for every $30 donation, you will receive a signed copy of my book with a Moonbeam sticker attached.

Update #1

Thank you for all your help! I've made $185 so far, and this is the first hat I made for the Kingman Cancer Center.

As a cancer survivor, I know how important these hats are to people. I appreciated the crocheted hats people gave me while I was undergoing chemo. They helped keep me warm during those Wyoming winters! I still have them, and I use them now.

Some people might think that Kingman doesn't get cold enough for people to need these hats. But it does get cold here...we even get some snow in the winter...not like Wyoming, but enough to make people shiver.

Plus, while getting chemo, I was always cold...it didn't matter what the temperature was outside, I was always freezing, especially at night. These hats help patients keep warm, and it's nice to know someone is thinking of them, and that's what I do while I'm crocheting--I'm thinking of people going through those treatments. Let's show them that we care.

I hope that you agree! Thank you so much for your support!! I truly appreciate it!

I'm only $15 away from my second hat! Help me get there by sharing my story. You can also let people know that if they want a hat for themselves, I'll crochet one for them with only a $15 donation, and they can pick their color...this is a limited offer!

Let me know if you want a hat! I'm happy to send you one after your generous support!
Thank you!
