The need for the gospel is great in Montana. Approximately 85 percent of Montanans do not have a relationship with Christ and 75 percent are unchurched. Many communities and towns are without an evangelical presence.

Montana boasts both Glacier and Yellowstone National Parks, rolling grassy plains, beautiful rivers and lakes, abundant wildlife, and over nineteen mountain ranges.

Pastors are praying the spiritual landscape of Montana will reflect its physical landscape as seeds of the gospel are sewn, communities are loved on, and God starts new churches from the gathering of new believers.

Creative Missions wishes to help churches impact lostness in Montana. Many of the churches are small (10-300), remote, and feel isolated, but Montana is currently experiencing explosive growth across the state including Bozeman. We are basing out of Bozeman, a young, vibrant city, and the fastest growing community in America. In fact, the tech industry is driving growth as Google and Amazon are in the process of building locations.

Pastors are excited about Creative Missions loving their state and serving their churches.

Our heart for each region we visit through Creative Missions resembles the Apostle Paul’s for Thessalonica. Here are four ways we display this posture with the pastor’s we serve:

CELEBRATE : the movement of God in their community.

LISTEN : Don’t assume you have the fix or understand their context.

LOVE & APPRECIATE : “Thank you for answering God’s call and being here.”

ENCOURAGE : “The best days are ahead for the mission of God.”

Throughout the Creative Missions week, 30 creative missionaries will be spread among 5 teams and in total we will serve 10-15 churches throughout Montana.

Creative Missions leadership have already met with pastors in Montana in order to cast vision, assess needs, and earn the trust of the churches being served during the May trip.

Each team lead has been briefed, and will prepare their assigned team prior to arrival. Once we hit the ground, we will already be running at full speed.

I am personally seeking your partnership to make this trip happen. With great optimism and excitement this will be my 7th trip; however, I am responsible to cover my own expenses. I have 2 direct financial needs:

1. Participation fee (covers program costs, lodging, food, transportation)

2. Airfare (if I can book early, the cost of the ticket will be less)
