I'm starting the project that will provide loans to homeless people living around Harlem in New York. Short-term, this will improve the community and safety. Long-term, this Angel credit will change lives for the better.
Last few months, I was saddened by the crimes reported near Columbia University. Today, someone broke into my student dorm just to steal my shoes. While the superintendent immediately reported this incident to the police, my empathy gradually touched me as I live the luxury life as a Columbia Business School student without recognizing the struggles of the homeless people around my campus.
Access to finance could improve track records, which mitigate crime and discover opportunities. As a result, I will organize an investment project that provides loans and value investing for homeless people. This vision fuels my desire to reach Kilimanjaro this March. Encountering altitude sickness at 19,341 feet, I could not complete this journey without a clear reflection of difficulties faced by homeless people who need societal trust and Angel creditor as a beacon to have a better life.
