Ms Misty's Learning Center

I began my journey in early childhood education seven years ago and had no idea it would take me on the ride it has. I am the oldest of 8 children and my parents were foster parents. Being surrounded by children has always been normal. I became a nanny of 9 children before stepping into a classroom and during our time in Chicago I was their home school teacher. I found my niche for teaching and watching children learn then.  I began as a teacher in a toddler classroom and quickly had experience in every classroom. I am now a proud assistant director at a center in Plantation, FL.  I love teaching kids and watching them explore the world around them.  I have my AA in Early Childhood Education from Broward College and I am currently working on my Bachelor's degree.  I have learned so much about Early Childhood Education at the Center's that I have worked at and I am ready to spread my wings and be able to provide my own curriculum and make sure learning and education are the main component. I plan to start small as an in-home center and eventually branch out into a bigger facility. I'm not one to typically reach out and ask for help but I do realize to make this dream a reality I need to find an investor that I could pay back or start here with FUNDly.
