I am raising money to serve my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ in Côte d'Ivoire. Without your help, attending this mission will be impossible for me. Below I have provided more info on the mission! God bless!
In July 2022, I will be embarking on a mission trip to Côte d'Ivoire, otherwise known as "The Ivory Coast." My name is Sarah Carpenter and I am a Catholic missionary with the organization Mission Youth/Regnum Christi. For the past six months, I have been serving in Kensington Philadelphia serving the homeless and addicted. Yes, we bring down food and oftentimes clothing, but that is not the main reason why we are there. We are there to bring these people to a personal encounter with Jesus Christ, whether that be through a conversation or even a kind smile in passing. This July, a small group of missionaries and I will be embarking on a different but equally as beautiful mission to Côte d'Ivoire. The objective is the same, bringing people to a personal encounter with Christ. We will also be helping with simple home repairs, medical training, and catechesis with the children we will meet and spend time with throughout the two weeks of the mission. As a full-time missionary, I have no job other than serving my brothers and sisters around the world, and the only income I have is from fundraising. The money I hope to fundraise will be used for travel expenses and the cost of attending the mission itself. My calling is a beautiful gift, and fundraising is a part of that gift. It is very humbling to admit that I do indeed need help. Those who donate to fund my travels will not only be helping me but will be helping the people I will serve while in Africa. Thank you so much for your generosity, and please pray for me and my fellow brothers and sisters who will be embarking on this great adventure with Christ! Thy Kindgom Come!!
