To cover living expenses (rent, car, groceries, etc) so I can intentionally spend my time during my season of support raising (40-60hrs/week) focused ONLY on my ministry prep-work and creating my monthly supporter team!

Brief Backstory: In the last year I have had a lot of incredible experiences in my life - I finished my undergrad degree at the University of Lynchburg and even tried a semester of graduate school. After a series of what I believe are divine interruptions, from obstacles in employment to health scares and trials in relationships, I prayed and discerned my call into full-time ministry!
Where Are You Going? One of the most life-changing opportunities came to me through the mentorship and discipleship of a woman working with Campus Outreach* while I was in college and I am blessed to be their newest campus staff worker! I'm so excited and have so much hope for my future ministry with Campus Outreach. But
What Are You Trying to Do? Before I can fully launch, I have been given the responsibility AND the privilege of mobilizing a team that will invest in the ministry and who will partner with me in prayer and financial support. I would like to be fully funded by August 30th so that I can be full-time staff ON campus when students start at UofL this fall. Supporter Raising takes specific and intentional steps in order to be successful and healthy long-terms and I have just finished training for this season where I will be focused on supporter raising alone. I stand on a biblical belief in the blessing and multiplication that comes from giving and receiving and desire to invite others into this God Ask (as He commands 1 Corinthians 9:14)
How Do I Factor In? I am boldly asking for you to consider supporting my Springboard/Ministry Launching fund so that I can cover my living expenses and needs for ministry prep-work! I am asking for special gifts and ongoing investments for this period time (June-October) and for those who feel led to continue on my monthly or annual giving team.
Campus Outreach: I am a Campus Staff Worker who has been hired by the church, Rivermont EPC, for evangelism and discipleship duties in college campus ministry. Our vision statement is “Glorifyfing God by building laborers on the Campus for the Lost World” (Matthew 9:37); we are committed to reaching out into the campus by equipping and training college students for life to be evangelists and multipliers on campus and in their future.
Fully Funded: Having the funds to maximize the fruitfulness of your family and ministry - To have no debt bondage so that I can bless others and be fully prepared to carry out my mission are my primarily goals financially since I am a single staff worker and do not have a family to provide for. I am a ministry worker and dedicated servant to the Lord and I am worthy of my wages (Luke 10:7), so I do not beg for help, but ask kindly and humbly and pray in advance for the giver to be blessed tenfold.
God Ask: The God Ask by Steve Shadrach beautifully outlines the journey of supporter raising and the purpose of it all. Summary:
"It is more blessed to give than to receive" (Acts 20:35) Still have questions? Visit - https://supportraisingsolutions.org/is-it-really-more-blessed-to-give-than-it-is-to-receive#.YNOLZ8D3YIQ
Support Raising: God gives money as a resource tool, not as an end itself for us to responsibly manage (stewardship) and further the kingdom with. The ministry worker is burdened and blessed by their call (Numbers 18) because they have to trust God to bring the right people in as a part of His provision. Those who support the minister, are partners and vital to God's work just as much as the one physically going into the mission field! Pray-Give-Go is the idea that whole-life stewardship is more than just money, but involved time (praying) and talent (resources, skill, contribution).
