Pastor Anselmo has been leading the 170 person congregation of Ministerios Elohim in Playa del Carmen, Mexico since 2011.
They have rented their current meeting location for the last 10 years since property prices in Playa were too high to purchase their own building.
Now, with some seed money, they were able to purchase some land about 15 minutes out of town and break ground on their own church.
The funds will be directly used for the completion of the church and onsite parsonage. Every dollar donated goes to buy a brick, mortar, cement, plumbing, etc.
The remaining funds needed are $60,800 USD ($1,239,000 Mexican pesos).
Mexico's number one religion is Catholicism. Many catholics have never read nor owned a bible. This mission is to spread the Word thru bible scripture so that others may be able to accept Christ and develop a personal relationship to their savior.
