Michael's Hillsong Adventure

Hey There!

I come with awesome news for you all this Holiday Season. I am officially fully funded for my year one at Hillsong College! I am so incredibly thankful to all who’ve partnered with me through this journey through prayer and finances. God is always good!

What’s next? My application transfer to Hillsong Phoenix went smoothly and I’m officially enrolled there. My housing is all taken care of and I’ll be finding out more specifics about where, roommates, and if I have a can opener when I arrive in Phoenix.

Classes begin on January 15th and so that I have time to move and get settled, I’ll be leaving Florida around January 10th.

There are more updates just around the corner. I can’t wait to share more with you! Thank you so much for being a part of my support team.

Hey everyone!

I want to continue to thank all of you for your prayers and support as I’m continuing to navigate this season of my life. I have an exciting update for you regarding my future and what this next year with Hillsong entails.

Australia’s borders are going to be closed to all tourists and international students until the end of 2021. This is both good news and bad news, unfortunately this means I wont be going out to Australia for Hillsong College this year. The good news is God has provided a way for me to still start Hillsong College in 2021.

I will be getting my enrollment transferred from Sydney, AU to the Hillsong College campus in Phoenix, Arizona. This is exciting because I will still be able to get the schooling I would’ve gotten in AU but also stay a lot closer to home. The funding I will have to raise will be increased a little because the schooling experience in the US requires a little more funding for school.

My funding goal right now is $10,000 for year 1, but because of an increase in tuiton it will be raised to $12,000. I’ve raised $9,692 so far and will be fully funded for year one when I raise $2,308 more. After year one is successfully supported I’ll start raising for year 2.

I’m excited to allow God to continue to provide for me in all ways regarding Hillsong. Thank you for your prayers and continued blessings as I make these changes and watch God use me for his purpose.

Hey everyone! I've got some awesome news.

As of this week, my student visa for Australia has been officially approved! Thank you so much for continuing to pray and believe with me for this acceptance. This is a huge step to getting me out in Australia come January, so let me tell you what you can be praying for next.

I'm applying for this week for a travel exemption, which would allow me to travel to Australia during the current restrictions surrounding COVID-19 and the travel ban that is in place. Let's believe together that this will be approved!

We are also nearing the end of having year one of my journey fully supported! Thank you to those who have given and have continued to give. I look forward to going to school in January with my full first year funded.

I'll have more updates soon regarding the Travel Exemption and when year one is fully supported.

Hello Everyone! It's been a minute, but I've got some news for ya!

Right now I'm working on preparing to see what it will look like for me to travel in January, and it looks like I'll have to apply for a travel exemption in October (3 months out from when I leave in January) due to covid. That travel exemption has to be approved before I can get my visa. Please be praying with me for both of those things. Over these next few months, I'm looking forward to connecting with you guys and enjoy my time left in the US. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions or encouragements. IMPORTANT UPDATE:

Hey guys! Due to some recent news about Australia and its plan to reopen their borders, I've decided it would be best to postpone my trip to Hillsong to January. Australia isn't planning to open their borders any time soon, so I'm gonna be here a little longer and that's ok! I'm excited to spend 6 more months here in FL with all of you, it's gonna be a great summer! Thanks for your continued prayers, everybody!

Good Morning! I'm excited to announce that I've officially been accepted into Hillsong College. I'm undergoing my next steps to get things rolling my move out there. I'm continuing to pray and believe I'll be able to go out to Australia in July. Praise God for this good news and I'm excited to continue pressing forward in this adventure. Thank you all for your support, without you I would have never gotten this acceptance. I'm blessed to have all of you be a part of my family. Till the next update! :)

We've done it! Four days left to hit my first goal and God has provided. Thanks to all who've donated so far, your support is essential to this journey and I'm so excited to continue raising for the first year! The goal will now be updated to reflect the required total for year one! More updates soon on acceptance into College and how COVID-19 is affecting it. God Bless!

So I have figured out how to input off-line donations into Fundly. So the goal right now is correct, and the number raised is also correct. Some more news, we are over halfway to our goal! Praise God! Only 7 more days to go for my first goal.

My goal has been lowered because I have had people support me through checks and cash. Praise God! Thank you everyone for your continued prayers and support.
