About Me

Many of you may or may not know that I am the Marketing Director for an orgainzation called IMA. This is a NON-PROFIT all girls school in Guatemala that changes lives on a daily basis through education . I was first introduced to IMA by a girl that my wife Michelle worked with. Over time Michelle and I began to sponsor two of the girls. After we had the gift of sponsoring these girls for awhile I had the opportunity to visit IMA first hand and see the school and the girls whom Michelle and I sponsor. I was extremely blown away by the perseverance these girls have in the face of extreme poverty. As I write this I can still see the dirt floors, dirty drinking water, limited food and hopelessness. IMA gives these girls hope and the girls that have the fortune to attend school receive not only an excellent education but they receive the message of our redeemer on a daily basis through reading and devotionals. If not for the school most of these girls would not eat at all but they receive two nutritious meals a day while at school. While visiting the school I saw one of the young girls sticking food in her pack back to take her to her siblings. I began to think of how this would never take place in the United States and how I so grateful that we live in the land of plenty and that most of the time, I included take it for granted. I am hoping that you would reach out and donate to a worth cause as we are changing young girls lives a day at a time. Thanks and God Bless.

About My Campaign

IMA is a global organization dedicated to improving the lives of young girls and women in Guatemala, Central America through education.  IMA operates a non-profit school for girls where their health is maintained, their nutrition is supervised, and they are provided a first-world education in tandem with tangible skills that enable them to become contributing members of society and the formal economy.

Ninety-four percent of all charitable donations are used towards providing education, food, medical assistance and day-to-day necessities for these young children.

On August 17th, IMA will be holding its Annual Walk-a-thon at Bolsa Chica State Beach from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Any and all are welcome to participate and support our work in Guatemala. This is our biggest annual fundraiser and it is critical to keeping our programs strong and our girls in school.

IMA is fully sponsor support and relies on the efforts of its donors and volunteers to provide its exceptional programs in Guatemala. Join us today in helping change the lives of young women in need.
