Update #1

Thank you to all my supporters, donators, and for those of you that shared and prayed. I am off to La Esperanza tomorrow morning. Even though the campaign goal of $450 was not reached and New Hope Church cancelled the event, God still made this missionary possible. I am going down to the mission with Pastor Bob Stone, his wife, their children, and few other people from their church in Oregon. I was able to bring down with me some clothes, shoes, and canned goods, for the people of La Esperanza which will be distributed to the people by the Mexican Medical Ministry. Thank you all very much. This wouldn't have been possible without everyone's help. God Bless you all and Adios. I will be back in one week with an update of how the mission went. Thank you all again.

More Info

Hi, my name is Sarah and I live in Chula Vista, Ca.  I am asking for your help, in the form of a donation, in raising a total of $450 so that I may accompany and volunteer with the New Hope Community Church.  http://go-newhope.com

The mission is from July 6th - July 11th 2014.  I have sacrificed my week of vacation off work this year to do a week of work with the Mexican Medical Ministries, but I still need your help.  We will be driving down to La Esperanza Mexico to volunteer our time and labor for the Mexican Medical Mission.

Out of the total goal raised, $210 will go to the Mexico Medical Ministry to purchase the supplies needed for the work projects; the rest will be for transportation, food and lodging.  This will not be a resort vacation!  This is just enough to cover the basics for a week to accomplish some much needed outreach for the struggling underclass in Mexico.  The money you help raise with your donation will support a week long of mission work in La Esperanza at the Mexican Medical Mission.  In the morning we will be doing work around the mission compound or on houses.       In the afternoons we will go into the migrant worker camps and do a Bible School for the children and help in the health clinics.  In the  evenings we will return to the migrant camps and show Christian Films.  The ultimate goal is to bring healing and hope to the people of Mexico.  Any money that exceeds the goal of $450 will directly be used to purchase more supplies for the people of La Esperanza.  These supplies will include items such as soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes and small toys and treats for the Mexican children attending Bible School.  Myself, along with the New Hope Community Church, will deliver these extra supplies ourselves. This would be an unexpected blessing to the community of La Esperanza.  Any size donation, no matter how small or large will help.  Please help.  Please send many prayers as well.  Please pray for all missionaries worldwide and for all us called from the safety of our home countries to serve the less fortunate.  Pray for all of us individuals that have answered the compelling call to serve our fellow man in sacrifice of our safety, comfort, and in some cases health, that we may return home safely after completing the outreach to those in need.  If you can't afford to donate a dollar please just donate a prayer.  Thank you for your support.
