Mending the Bridge between LEOs and Civilians

Mending the Bridge between LEOs and Civilians

From Zerrick Currie

I'm raising money for a startup, to help mend the bridge between Law Enforcement and Civilians, rooted in Franklin, TN, to make my county the safest and most productive county, in TN, then spreading across the region.

I want to be the change in my community, to see LEOs and Civilians coexist. Everyone, regardless if race, profession, politcal standpoint, deserves to go home to their loved ones. I had a friend, Officer Destin Legieza, who passed away tragically in a car crash. Prior to him becoming an officer, he fed me during our school years @ a local restaurant he worked at everyday. Then, when my wife was shot and killed many years later, he consoled me, was an angel in human-form. We do this in honor of him, to continue his work of serving the community, so we can all unite as one human race.

I met with my local Sheriff, Sheriff Dusty Rhoades, to discuss how we can make our town the best it is in the nation. I want to lead the way in becoming a cohesive society, with LEOs and Civilians, thus making a shift into the "Unity" direction. For him even meeting up with me, I'm GRATEFUL. Eternally.

Now that we are here, and despite the backlash I receive, I am continuing to press forward. And I could use your help. A share would even suffice.

We are crowdfunding, for supplies, classroom utilities, transportation costs for operating, and office space/necessities, and IT support for our interactions. These costs will be the highest, as I've had donations for many other items as well.

We have a 7 step plan to mend the bridge that includes, physical meetings and virtual meetings, productive outreach programs, neighborhood assemblies, and beyond.
