Hello, my name is Patrick Meister, I started Animals Without Borders, a 501 (C) 3 nonprofit organization after my family suffer the loss of three fur babies. When my first fur baby Zoe passed away, a kind soul assisted me by having her cremated at no expense, while having to only pay a fee from the veterinarian office. A few short months later my brother’s fur baby passed away due to cancer. My brother did not have the funds for the veterinarian visit nor to have him cremate or buried and the body of his beloved pet was sent to the land fill. Not being able to honor Zeus either with a proper burial or cremation broke my brother’s heart. I suffered the loss my second fur baby Zander a few month later. I had him cremated and was shocked by the expense of both the veterinarian visit and the cremation. Fortunately, I had the funds to honor Zander, but it reminded me of my brother and his loss and not being able to honor Zeus. So, I decided I wanted to help other families treat their beloved pet’s with honor, respect and dignity so I started Animals Without Borders.
