At about 9pm on September 16th, 2018, my friend and I were on our way to get food when we saw two dogs that were hit on Saxon in Orange City outside of the hospital
Someone else was pulled over with the dogs, but we decided to stop as well. Long story short, there were two dogs and unfortunately one had already passed. The first person who stopped called the cops and told us that the person who hit them just kept going. The cops wanted to kill the living dog, who we found out is named Ice, immediately and my friend and I could not let that happen in case someone was looking for her and as it turns out, she did. She has no microchip, but she is now at the Deland Animal Hospital getting x-rays and bloodwork to see how bad she may be. My friend and I have decided to take on her care for now, but we know how pricey it will be. We can't just let her die without a fighting chance. Any money donated to help with this baby's care would be so very appreciated!
