Overview
The following fundraiser is dedicated for the MC Class of 2013 Scholarship to provide resources for a "Plus Ultra" candidate to supplement the cost for the first-year of college.
Annually, we receive notice to donate back to Malden Catholic. While there is no issue giving back and I trust that MC has been allocating our money to the appropriate resources I thought it would be a great a idea to put together a private scholarship fund through my non-profit organization FLINT Program Inc. on behalf of the MC Class of 2013 for transparency on our impact. Since 2019, our 501(C)3 has been able to provide over $25,000 in scholarship funding to 11 college/university students in the Greater New England Region. Through our digital platform students and teachers can submit all documentation related to the scholarship for committee members. Initially, we would like to dedicate resources for at least one MC High-School Senior for educational resources during their first year of college with a goal of $2,000. If you like to support by giving anything you can afford, please review the next steps below.
A private invite will be sent to all members of the MC class of 2013 via Facebook. Several polls will be created to establish our scholarship such as; the scholarship name, the criteria, deadline, and scholarship committee. The scholarship committee will be composed of three alumni from the MC class of 2013 who will anonymously determine the scholarship based on the criteria that we set.
