The nonprofit they write about in their essay will receive $2,500-10,000 grants.
How to Enter #MyGivingStory • Go to the contest entry form (http://bit.ly/2fM4SJp) or visit the #MyGivingStory tab on #GivingTuesday’s Facebook page. • Post a short essay (150- 600 words) responding to the question, “What inspires you to give?” • In it, tell the story of a specific instance in which you supported a nonprofit organization in a way that was meaningful to you. • Submit your story by December 31st • Share and promote your submission on social media with #MyGivingStory and #GivingTuesday.

Changing campaign title and wording to attract more potential donors. Researching other campaigns for ideas. Trying to make my idea work to help my brother. I am not going to give up hope because I know when the time is right, good will come.

Today I posted a campaign on Eventbrite in hopes of getting more donations. Wish me luck !!!!

I started this campaign a couple days ago to help my brother with difficult issues he is facing on a day to day basis which to a normal functioning person are just simple no brainer tasks a person deals with without even thinking. I guess I am a little disappointed in the dollar amount and of only seeing one person contribute. Maybe I picked a bad time to start this with Thanksgiving and Christmas right around the corner, but I am going to give an update on the prognosis and let you in on a little secret. I never told him I was doing this so it is going to be a surprise and I am keeping my spirits up and if it takes a lot longer than I expected than that's ok and I am truly grateful for any and all contributors. This coming Friday is Veterans Day so I would like to thank all the different military personnel for their service to our country. I have a lot of respect for those who have served and are serving now. Please everyone show your green light in honor of all those men and woman who in my mind deserve the respect and dignity of knowing they serve for the United States of America.
