Hello! My name is Jacob Michna of JMRVideo. I am starting the fundraiser in order to get the necessary equipment to make the National Hare and Hound and West Hare Scramble Videos in 4k resolution. Why? 4k is becoming the new standard in the video world. With all of the new technology in the world we are now able to watch youtube videos on our TV's with the help of Apple TV, Roku and other smart TV platforms. My plan is to elevate the Pro Recaps to turn into a televised event one day. Although this a big goal this is a huge step in the right direction. OffRoad racing is a hard sport to keep alive and in 2018 I feel like we are starting to get some momentum and I think with all of the hard work Clubs, Promoters, Racers, Sponsors, and Families put into this sport that the whole world should see what Off-Road racing is! I know this is no easy feat and some of you may be asking "Why don't you buy this yourself?" or "Why doesn't NHHA pay for it?" To answer the first question, I really can't afford it and don't have the time I wish I did to do full time video projects to be able to afford. I have dedicated most of my time into the NHHA to keep this sport going. The NHHA at its current state is trying to put its attention into rider safety and having quality staff in the right areas to have fun and safe races for everyone so this type of upgrade is unfortunately not in the budget right now. However I feel like we can all come together as a community and make this sport grow! If you don't agree with this then simply don't donate, if you do then please donate if you can. I will strictly use this budget for camera upgrades and post the new equipment as its purchased on this page. Thank you all for your continued support.
