LOREDANA A STOICA

More Info

On February 5th 2013 I felt like  my life was turned upside down .I thought I was invincible only 14 years old never sick busy with school looking forward to our family trip.I was diagnose with STAGE 4 NON-HODGKINS LYMPHOMA . I have the best parents in the world the same day they had me in the hospital at Randall Children's Hospital At Legacy Emanuel Portland Oregon to start treatment. Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma is cancer of the lymphatic system, a vital part of the body's immune system. Symptoms include swollen lymph nodes, fever, night sweats, coughing, weakness, chest pain, unexplained weight loss, and abdominal pain. I'm doing chemo Monday thru Friday for about 3 hours. Already the treatment is starting to work my lymph nodes are normal size. Unfortunately because of chemo everyday my whole week consist of lots of sleeping,  medication every 4 to 6 hours plus what I hate the most is having no energy at all. I have a great core of people around me mom, dad , sister and lots of family members who help thru my tough days. Please check out my facebook for my  day to day updates. Most of all I would like to encourage everybody to be part of my journey to help me and my family get thru this unfortunate times. Were testing a new drug that can cut my treatment to just 6 months of chemo and it is more effective. This ordeal is putting a lot of stress on my parents  and its very expensive all I ask to contribute with what ever you can to make this just a little easier. Between medical bills , medication, travel and my parents pretty much just put everything else on hold its getting a little harder and harder. Its a long road but I know with all of your thoughts  and prayers and GOD by my side I WILL BEAT THIS NO DOUBT ABOUT IT. Couple months  ago I discovered a slogan from NIKE which I think wrote it just for me I'M BUSY GETTING STONGER..........   You can also check my website at LOREDANASTOICA.COM
