Link OT’s mission is to link neurodistinct talents to job opportunities. The problem is that the vast majority of people (and employers) do not accept and APPRECIATE what it means to think differently. This lack of understanding results in homogenous thinking and cultural norms, which stifles new ideas and ways of thinking. Bigotry, anti-intellectualism, and marginalization are just a few of the inherent risks when diverse thinking isn’t embraced.

Neurodiverse conditions include Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, and more. Further, 17% of the US population can be considered neurodistinct. Yet, this segment of our population encounters unemployment rates as high as 80%! On the flip side, many companies, such as Microsoft and HP, have uncovered the unique value of integrating diverse thinking into their workforce. Research also indicates that hiring neurodistict talent results in greater productivity, creativity, innovation, and work engagement in comparison to peers. So, where is the breakdown happening and what do we do about it?? This is where the Link team comes in!

I started Link OT with the mission to change the narrative, break down barriers, reduce the stigma, and change perspectives about diverse thinking in the workplace. We help our clients FIND & KEEP JOBS while also assisting employers in development of NEURO-INCLUSIVE hiring, onboarding, integration, and retention practices.

Your contribution to this campaign will mean so much to us as we pursue our mission. We truly appreciate your support, even if that means just forwarding this message on to your friends and family.

At your service,

Liz and the Link team
