Life. Is. Lifeing. Again. I need a hand up.

Hi, my name is Toya and I am raising funds for myself to provide for funding related to my education and living expenses. A little bit about me:

I grew up I'm foster care from age 4- 21. I have suffered through a lot but I am strong and resilient. I have worked since age 13 and even though I worked, I've never qualified when needed for public assistance (medical, food, etc.) due to not having any dependents or due to income restrictions. I recently received my Master's in Social Work and have been struggling to find employment in my field. I have worked for 6.5 year at a local healthcare agency with people living with HIV. The agency has saw my growth from an associate degree level to now obtaining a Master's degree. Unfortunately my pay did not increase with merit and I have accumulated a little less than a $2 increase in pay since starting in 2016. As the cost of living began to rise, my pay did not and through a series of unfortunate events including the death of my mother and 3 month old niece, I fell behind on my bills. In spite of that, I graduated and was proud as I am the 2nd of my biological mother's 10 children to go to college.

I am asking for support to help me find my footing. I haven't been able to secure a job in my field due to a lack of money for expenses related to obtaining my licensure including exam costs. In my state, there are really limited employment options for unlicensed social workers. I thought I was reducing my living expenses by moving into a cheaper area but the neighborhood has had challenges with crime. My car was vandalized twice in less than a month and my insurance skyrocketed from $200 to almost $600 per month. I could not keep up with the payments and my insurance lapse, my car was impounded has has since fallen into a state of disrepair. On top of this, my utilities were recently disconnected due to services that were put in my name by a relative, which puts me in danger of being evicted. Added to the anxiety and stress is the fact that I am nearing the time to starting paying back my student loans. 

I am a good person and have been on my own since aging out of foster care. I am trying my best not to be a statistic and I have been doing my best to live my life right; always giving to family, friends and my community. I just need help coming up for air. I'm not looking for a handout just a hand up. If you know of an organization or foundation that are interested in providing individual donations or loans, I would greatly appreciate it.
