"people before profit, community before uniformity, we are the cultural exchange."

We are a cultural exchange initiative in Tallahassee and our goals are to bring together a diverse, enriching, intentional community centered on communal growth, learning, experiencing, and being exposed to different people and cultures. we hope to do this by developing an e-commerce/website, buying better, more effective equipment, and creating a more effective infrastructure. This will open new doors for potential events, new jobs raise for our employees, and will allow us to invest more funds into our cultural exchange mission.

we are a debt-free, family and minority-owned business and we want to change community in Tallahassee. centered on cultural exchange and interpersonal growth, we want to expose people to the amazing cultures, demographics, communities, and experiences of as many different people as possible. we do this through patron created events that are either educational, interesting, cultured or that raise awareness about social issues/ programs, so as to provide these resources to the community of growth. we are also an incubator for aspiring entrepreneurs. one of our bigger goals is that we want our employees to be the best paid in the industry. This can be achieved by developing our wholesale accounts as we roast coffee and package our teas. to do this we need a website, and an effective one. we also need the capital to create an infrastructure for the logistics/equipment needed for the new jobs that will be created. being debt-free is important to serenity because we believe it sets us up to make choices FOR the patron, not to pay off debt. our credo, "people before profit, community before uniformity, we are the cultural exchange." touches on this deeply rooted principle. we are asking our community for help. we want to do amazing things in Tallahassee, and we want to do it now. So we thought, why not ask the very community we serve for some help?
