From Karen Jackson-Jones

I am raising money to help kids who want to play baseball for their local League, but can't afford to.

Registration to play baseball costs nearly $200 for most leagues. A lot of kids can not play because their parent's just simply can't afford it.  Not only does a parent have to pay this cost, there are also costs of equipment that can easily add up to a few hundred dollars, especially if it's their first time playing.  Cleats and Helmets are almost always needing to be renewed each season because the kid's grow so fast!

My goal is to help those in need.  A child should never be rejected to play because they can't afford it.  Baseball for my kids have been a blessing.  They have made several great friends along the way, as well as I.

Baseball teaches hard work, humility and respect, hustle, overcoming failure and team work, along with many other valuable life lessons.

Registration begins in January, and with your donation, big or small, will help any parent that approaches registration and informs us that they can not afford to register.
