Dear All:
How can I thank so many people for their support at this so very difficult time of my life?
My heart is filled with love because of you, your texts, comments, phone calls and generous donations.
Each one of your gestures makes me want to fight "this battle" even harder.
One of my parents said to me: "Keep fighting, you have a village behind you". I do believe and feel your support and I will win this battle.

If you're looking at this page, then I probably don't need to tell you about the amazing woman, this page is in support of....but I'm going to say a few words anyway. Rita is a mother, a friend, a colleague, and to many of us she is Miss Rita, a teacher who has taught our children for over 18 years at Jacobson Sinai Academy in the early childhood center. Rita Rozenman is one of the few people gifted with the innate ability to create joy in each and every child she ever meets. When she enters your life, you are forever inspired by her genuine kindness and love for all the kids that she has taught. It is only fitting, that Rita chose a career where she was able to touch children's lives each and every day. I can speak to this personally, as she my son's teacher during the 2013-2014 school year.
Unfortunately, Rita had to leave her teaching job in November, because she was not feeling well, without knowing what was going on inside of her body. On February 18th she was rushed to Aventura hospital with massive pain, only to discover she has a huge mass on her ovaries and had to find out that she had Ovarian cancer.
Moreover, as if that wasn't bad news already. Faced with cancer and losing her health insurance, she had to lay in a hospital bed for two days only to find out that this hospital didn't take her new Obama care insurance. She finally got up and got dressed and was taken to a different hospital that agreed to perform surgery on her.
Rita is now facing weeks of intense chemotherapy, and this very serious illness has placed a huge financial burden on her. She has given so much to our children, that we are asking for contributions to provide for the intense medical treatments that she will be undergoing in the next few months. We want to help her focus on getting better, free from stress and anxiety on how to pay for these bills.
She has not asked for any help, but we want to help her, after all that she has done for our children and for us.

Rita wanted everyone to know that she is in a state of shock at the overwhelming response from everyone. We hit half of our goal in one day!!! She said that so much financial stress has been lifted in less than a day, and is absolutely speechless at the support and love coming from each and everyone of you.
