I cannot believe how well this fundraiser has gone! You all have given over $13,000 and Mary and I overwhelmed by the support of her community!
We have decided to extend the fundraiser until July! At the end, we will take whatever we've raised and use it as the downpayment for Mary's van! Let's raise as much as we possible can so that Mary's bills will be manageable.
THANK YOU ALL!
Mary is a queer disability rights activist and the founder of Upgrade Accessibility.
She is a wheelchair user and also chronically ill, who requires an accessible vehicle for transportation.
Her current vehicle is 16 years old and has had several repairs done in the past few years and has become increasingly unreliable.
Mary is in need of a new, more reliable vehicle to get around, particularly to medical appointments.
