I have an Interview on Monday 1/30 wish me luck.

More Info

At the beginning of January, I got a new job. I was really excited about it because it was outdoors and would meet a lot of people. The job did start to take a toll on me if I tried to go too fast or took on too much. I never once complained but I did mention to one of my supervisors about my condition. After the end of my day, my supervisor informs me that I have been taken off the schedule and I will be notified within a week to come in to speak with the owner and general manager about my condition.

I receive a call five days later to go down there to meet with them the first thing that comes out of the owners mouth is " So you just started working and now you have a condition?" I explained to him what exactly I had and for how long and then he says "In your interview you were asked if there was anything that would stop me from doing the job and you said no." I told him that that was correct I can do the job and I wasn't asking for any special treatment my issue was that I might get winded from time to time and that was it. He was still insisting I couldn't do the job. I then asked him ok then if you think that then how about they put me in another position he still refused and told me I needed a job elsewhere.

He said everyone here has to do every position which is a lie because he only put females at the register. When I mention that to him he said to worry about myself. At that point I knew they were trying to get rid of me matter what. I know their reasoning wasn't right they did not offer me any accommodations for my condition.

The resolution was to let me go instead of placing me in another department. This was unfair and not right. I have been contacting a few law firms and I'm hoping someone will take my case if they believe I have one. This company states that they encourage people with disabilities to apply on their website. This is just devastating I just want to work and pay my bills like everyone else.

I will be using the donated funds to cover my monthly rent (2 months) if possible gas for my car to get to potential job interviews and utilities for my unit. SSI and SDI cut me off after 15 years,  according to them I am not eligible to receive benefits anymore my disability does not qualify me anymore because I can stand, walk, sit, speak and understand how to follow instructions so I have been denied and denied my appeal also.

Thank you for reading this far. I am trying to keep this company private for now and also certain information about my medical condition. If necessary I can provide proof.
