I am contesting a will that is invalid due to the fact that my great grandfather had dementia during the time that his wife had him sign the updated copy. Leaving his grand children nothing to remember him by.
thank you for all of the love and support it means so much to me and my family. Thank you.
I have created this campaign to raise money to pay for legal fees to contest my great grandfathers will, who passed away earlier this year in March.
My Great Grandfather, Louis Greer, was an amazing self-built man and he was proud of a of things that he accomplished in life. Before my father passed away in 2016, he was my great grandfathers right hand man. My father helped him with a lot of stuff and they had an extremely close bond. After my father passed away, it completely tore him and he was never the same after that.
My grand father was in his ate 90's and was married to a woman that would neglect him, not allow him to see or talk to family and did not even tell his own grand children that he had passed away. We had to find out through a news article.
I am contesting his will because, his wife had the will edited and changed in the last few years of his life, when he was suffering from dementia, removing all blood related relatives and only leaving herself and her friends name. This really saddened me because I had a dream to keep my great grandfather, my fathers and my grandpas names alive and remember the memories that I had with them at my great grandfathers farm. I feel for my younger siblings, having so much loss of their grandfather, great grandfather, father and now grandmother in only such a short amount of time. I want to do everything that I can for them to feel connected to family and do what I enjoyed as a child. That is why I am trying to make this happen, for them.
If you could share or donate whatever you can it would mean the world because this is something that I really am trying to solve for me and all of my 5 siblings.
Can’t donate? Please share. Even a quick share on Facebook can help.
