OUR MISSION and MISSIONARIES

The Mission:

February 27 thru March 7 a small group of volunteers and medical professionals including RN's, LPN's, Nurse Practicioners, EMT's, medical assistants and a Medical Doctor sposored by the Liberty Church of Christ (Indiana) will travel to Jacmel, Haiti, which is 70 miles south of Port-au-Prince.This will primarily be a medical mission trip. Part of the medical mission will include travel to the mountains where we will set up a "mobile clinic" to provide medical care and checkups for residents who can not obtain medical treatment on their own. In addition, we will treat residents who are in need for a variety of medical conditions, some that may be life-threatening if not treated.

It is our hope that this will be the first in a continuation of return visits to Haiti as a Medical Mission.

Although we do not know how many residents we will have the privilege to see, we are anticipating as many as 200 visiting our mobile clinic.

Since this is our first visit, the exact expenses are unknown. It is our hope to secure enough funds to treat up to 200 patients. If we are fortunate enough to receive more donated funds than needed, they will remain in an account for future medical mission trips to Haiti.
