I don't have a lot of money, nor do I think I am the most skilled person at latte art in the world. My largest platform of influence, however, has come to be in latte art. Thus, I'm offering what I have available to me in order to help the victims of the Oso Mudslide in Snohomish County. As of writing, 14 have been found dead and over 100 people are on the missing persons' list. This is an absolutely devastating travesty and it has affected many people in my community. This is a small way to hopefully raise some awareness and money for the relief effort. If I reach the goal of this campaign, I will release a series of educational videos detailing tips and tricks I've learned in making nice latte art. These tips and tricks will fill a void in the existing free media on the internet, and will be much more comprehensive than current tutorials available. I promise that it will be worth it. I do not have the greatest videography skills (though they're competant enough to produce something functional), so if there are any Seattle based videographers who would like to donate their time to this, your contribution will be wildly appreciated. I've set up generic tiers for giving. These are more of a platform to reach the final goal of an in-depth tutorial series, but I hope they've provided some interesting options. I realize that a shoutout on my page isn't really worth $10/25/50/75 etc. This isn't meant to be conceited to suggest that I'm so awesome that a shoutout is super valuable. Rather, I needed to provide some various tiers of donation, and this is what I was able to come up with. If you come to my home to learn latte art, I will provide the milk and coffee, and you may even get some delicious cookies. Skyped in folks, unfortunately won't have that option. Should you desire to give at any level but do not want the reward level, just let me know.
