I began exploring and documenting the vast wilderness area within 150 miles of Las Vegas, Nevada in 2016. https://lasvegasareatrails.com was launched in 2018 and within 4 years nearly 400 wilderness areas had been explored and documented. Many of the wilderness areas documented are rarely visited, giving some viewers a virtual experience of places they may never visit and inspiring others to experience the wilderness first-hand. 30-60 hours are invested weekly. Donations enable the documentation of additional wilderness areas along with hard to reach areas. Equipment currently sought includes a 4WD vehicle and gravel mountain bike to extend access into additional remote areas.
