Update #6

Kolmarge T Harris was born and raised on the rough, inner city streets of Chicago. Mr. Harris has had much success boxing both as an amateur and professional. Now as he is retired, Mr. Harris has made it his mission to give back to the community. This is why he founded the non-profit Lansing Spartan Youth Organization. Along with his various connections in the World Boxing Organization, he is developing and implementing programs all across the United States. His plan is to assist in the eradication of child hood obesity and reduction of the bullying epidemic. The programs focus on fitness training, boxing, kick-boxing, self-defense, and overall conditioning. The Lansing Spartan Youth Organization also offers tutoring to create a well balanced routine for the youth. For more information on how you can get involved please contact Kolmarge T. Harris

Update #5

Hello,

I just wanted to let everyone know about two exciting opportunities that will be available through LSYO’s partnership with Capitol National Bank.

We will be sponsoring 15 individuals interested in running in the Lansing Capitol 5K. The race will be on Friday, June 19th starting 6 PM. The race will begin at the Fish Ladder in Old Town. There will be food and drinks provided to the participants after the race. This will be a great family fun event!

Also through our partnership with the Capitol National Bank, we will be participating in their Charity Challenge Raffle this year. With the purchase of a $10 raffle ticket, individuals will be automatically entered in drawing win great prizes like a Fitbit, four roundtrip tickets to Cedar Point, and a vacation for two! The drawing will occur at the start of the Capitol 5K race. The deadline to purchase raffle tickets is Friday, June 12th. All proceeds will go towards helping to support LSYO.

For individuals interested in running in the Capitol 5K or raffle tickets, please send me a message on Facebook or email me at lsyo@lsyo.org. Thank you all for your continued support!
