My soul is so happy because I am finally taking the leap and following my love of anthropology out West to live the dream of working and living every day in backcountry! Now to pay back that loan covering the move...
I am unreservedly joyous to announce that I am finally taking the leap and following my love for anthropology out West to live the dream of working and living every day in backcountry! I will be traveling around the Western United States, living out of a used RV and working different excavation sites for most of the year. With this fundraiser I am hoping to raise enough money to further insulate the RV to make it a four season home and cover some of the loan costs of the move. Anyone have an extra $10-$20 to help a girl stay warm in the mountains?
Update: A lot of people have been asking exactly where I’ll be moving to and that is a question I excitedly cannot answer! As a field anthropologist, new excavation sites are being found every day, which means we are moving every few weeks from site to site. This nomadic work lifestyle was one of the key factors that kept me from starting this journey earlier; but also in convincing me to go ahead and jump in to the RV life. The RV will be my traveling home no matter where my job takes me; from Tahoe to Lake Mead to Glacier and everywhere in between! Thank you to every one for all of your continued support!
