Many of you count on this page day-after-day for weather forecasts and up-the-minute weather information during storms. It's now time to give back. Turn all that thanks into a good cause by helping charity!
Beginning right now, through Sunday at 6pm I'm putting my social media channels to work for good. Many folks may be thinking of playing the lottery this weekend. But I challenge you to do something better instead for the MDA. (Each year Fox affiliates all across the country show the MDA Telethon, including Fox 16.) I'm looking to raise $500 by 6pm Sunday for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA.org)
What's in it for you? A chance to win a unique opportunity. I'm looking for 20 people to donate $25 each (not more, not less. $25 flat). That adds up to $500! Each of the 20 people will be entered into a drawing that will give one child a chance to do the weather on Fox 16 during Fox 16 Good Day, our new morning show. So your $25 donation not only helps a great cause but may also put your kid on TV!
