Charleston Taekwondo in Charleston, SC is hosting our 5th Annual "Kicking For a Cure" fundraiser and hope to raise $30,000 for the MUSC Children's Hospital. All donations are tax-deductible and go directly to MUSC.
Thank you for choosing to be a part of our 5th Annual Fundraiser, Kicking For A Cure.
Charleston Taekwondo opened up 10 years ago with the mission of creating a better community, one Black Belt at a time. We truly believe that creating a better tomorrow means looking after each other today. After years of developing stronger leaders through our Martial Arts programs we would like to help our community in another way, by partnering with MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital.
So, why are we setting out on this journey? It’s simple. MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital’s mission is to “help children live the dreams they imagine.” I can’t fathom the challenges families must face when dealing with a sick child. Our hopes are to make things a little easier when facing those challenges. All donations go to help families going through tough times.
We have set out on a lofty goal this year of raising $30,000 dollars to donate to MUSC Children’s Hospital this year.
We will raise funds through various events such as a Break-A-Thon, business sponsorships and raffles. Our main focus will be our large community event, the Break-A-Thon. Our goal is to have at least 200 participants raise over $100 each. During this event we will break thousands of boards with different Martial Art techniques.
All students who raise at least $100 will be entered to win one of our many prizes totaling over $700 in value. Additionally, students who raises at least $50 will receive a Free Charleston TKD Kicking For A Cure T-shirt.
Again, I sincerely thank you for choosing to be a part of our fundraising efforts to help our community. If there is anything that I can ever help with, please let me know. Now, let’s change the world together.
