My name is Coach Garris. I am a former NBA/Overseas Basketball Player. I was asked by my son KJ to coach him for this years AAU Basketball season. As any parent knows it is hard to say no to your child (even thought I was having so much fun watching him play).

This is the team's first year as an AAU basketball program. We are off to a good start by winning 6 out of 8 tournaments. We are very proud of our achievements and the hard work of a lot of people connected with the organization has also led to on-court success.  Key tournaments like GA Cup in Suwanee, GA and Adidas Jr. Gauntlet in Emerson, GA help build recognition of the team.

As a lot of you know, in running a nonprofit organization you need funds to make it go. As a first year club there are many expenses connected with running the club and we rely for funding sole on our own fundraising events and the support of family, friends and local businesses.

For this fundraiser, the money will be used for our last tournament of the season, which is AAU Nationals. AAU Nationals is one of the biggest tournaments of the year. They bring in the top teams from all over the USA to compete at being the number one team in their age group. We feel that we have an opportunity to compete for the title and would like your help.

The tournament is in Orlando, FL from July 8-13. Some of the major expenses will be traveling(rental van, snacks,), hotel (6 days), gas (traveling to Orlando, to games and back to the hotel, travel back home), food and other miscellaneous expenses.

Thanks for your support in advance,

Coach Garris
